The Union Ministry of Home Affairs directed Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary to take action against Mr. PV Sunil Kumar, IPS, Addl. DGP, Crime Investigation Department, Andhra Pradesh for anti-Hindu speeches and activities in the name ‘Ambedkar’s India Mission’. Legal Rights Observatory (LRO) has lodged a complaint, PV Sunil Kumar, last month for allegedly promoting a separatist ideology among castes and his hate speech.
The incident took place last month where PV Sunil Kumar claimed to be a Christian and made objectionable comments on the Hindi Gods and sacred Hindu scriptures. The LRO claims that the senior IPS officer abused his official position by running a private organization ‘Ambedkar’s India Mission’.
LRO complained that the IPL officer violated Sec. 3 of The Police Forces (Restriction of Rights) Act, 1966 and Central Civil Services (Conduct) Rules of 1964.
The ministry directed the government of Andhra Pradesh to take an action soon and send a report to the ministry.
