YSRCP MLA Son Attempts Suicide

YSRCP MLA Kapu Ramachandra Reddy’s son Praveen Kumar Reddy has attempted suicide in Bellary. Kapu Ramachandra Reddy is the MLA of the Rayadurg constituency in the Anantapur district. Praveen Kumar Reddy attempted to set himself on fire and his friends immediately rushed him to the hospital.

Along with Bellary MLA Gali Somashekhar Reddy’s son Shravan Reddy, Praveen Kumar Reddy started an automobiles business. The duo is said to have taken a franchise of Kia Automobiles but they incurred losses. Somasekhar Reddy decided to intervene to resolve the issues.

Somasekhar Reddy called on a meeting with Praveen Kumar Reddy and his sons at their showroom. During the meeting, Somasekhar Reddy reportedly expressed his anger on Praveen. Praveen who was hurt immediately decided to set himself on fire with the petrol he already bought with him.

Currently, Praveen Kumar Reddy is undergoing treatment and the Rayadurg MLA is yet to react to the incident. More details are awaited.
