Parting ways with her brother Jagan, YS Sharmila established her own political party but that’s in Telangana not in Andhra Pradesh. Political observers are still pondering why Sharmila did not float her political party in AP but she defended her stand that she belongs to the land of Telangana.
Yet major sections of people are still unable to get Sharmila’s political tactics. Having been born in Kadapa, Sharmila speaks the Rayalaseema slang and she is trying her best to own the issues of Telangana. Shockingly she backed Telangana in the recent water disputes with AP.
Sharmila is making all the attempts to win the trust of Telangana people but every effort of her is appearing as a dubious move. Nonetheless she made significant comments during the launch of her political party on July 8th and this comment might bother Telangana and Andhra CMs KCR and Jagan.
Speaking Sharmila said, “Both CMs meet at one place, have lunch together and defeat their common political rival. But they don’t have two minutes to spare to resolve the water sharing row.”
This is indeed a logical comment because we have seen what has happened in 2019 after the general elections. KCR extended a warm welcome to Jagan at Pragathi Bhavan and both turned good friends and for two years the bonhomie appeared all is well. Not even once either Jagan or KCR made a negative comment against each other.
All of a sudden KCR and Jagan turned foes and experts opine that this might be a scripted drama. Raking up the water row, KCR and Jagan are igniting the regional feeling and making sure to benefit from it politically, is what experts say.
Whatever it is Sharmila has stumped both KCR and Jagan with a single comment!
