In a significant development, the Election Commission has served notices to Janasena leader Pawan Kalyan following complaints from YCP leaders. This action comes in response to Kalyan’s recent remarks criticizing CM Jagan during an election campaign in Anakapalli. YCP leaders alleged that Kalyan’s comments were inappropriate and requested the EC to intervene. Consequently, the EC has given Kalyan 48 hours to provide an explanation for his statements about CM Jagan. The outcome of Kalyan’s response will be closely watched.
