Tamil film producer Manickam Narayanan has accused Kamal Haasan of withholding dubbing for the 2006 film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu until he was paid his full remuneration. Narayanan contrasted this with Rajinikanth’s professionalism, highlighting that Rajinikanth didn’t charge producers Sun Pictures a penny for Enthiran until its release in 2010. “Kamal blackmailed me without pending payment that he won’t dub for the movie. Even I approached the dubbing union, but it was of no use. Later, after making two payments, he dubbed for the film” said the producer.
