AP Gov Releases Rs. 1,480 cr under DBT schemes

The Andhra Pradesh government on Thursday disbursed Rs. 1,980 cos under DBT schemes, with Rs. 1,480 crs allocated to Jagananna Vidya Deevena and Rs. 502 crs to YSR Asara scheme in a single day. This follows the Election Commission of India’s directive on May 9, prohibiting the release of Rs. 14,165 cr across six DBT schemes during the Silence Period.
