Air India Express engine caught fire while landing

An Air India Express flight bound for Kochi made an emergency landing at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru after an engine caught fire. All 179 passengers and six crew members were safely evacuated. The airline praised the crew’s swift action and promised alternative arrangements for passengers. An investigation will determine the cause of the incident.
