The BJP is poised to retain power in Arunachal Pradesh, while the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) is set for a second term in Sikkim. Voting took place on April 19 for 60 assembly seats in Arunachal Pradesh and 32 in Sikkim. Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu aims for a third term, and SKM’s PS Tamang won the Rhenock seat.
