Shabnam – First Andhraite in Indian Women’s Cricket Team

17-year-old Shabnam Shakeel from Visakhapatnam has been selected for the Indian women’s cricket team for the remaining matches against South Africa. She is the first cricketer from Andhra Pradesh to be chosen for all three formats – ODI, Test, and T20. Shabnam, who played a key role in India’s U-19 World Cup victory, will look to make her mark at the senior level.
