Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has launched a crackdown on unlicensed pubs, bars, and restaurants in the city. So far, 33 such establishments have been demolished using bulldozers, including those with prominent names. This action follows the recent car accident incident, prompting the Maharashtra government to raid and shut down illegal drinking establishments across Pune. The drive aims to enforce safety regulations and curb unauthorized operations that pose risks to the public.
