War on Crows: Kenya Vows to Eliminate 1 Million Indian Birds

The Kenyan government has announced an ambitious plan to eliminate one million Indian house crows by the end of 2024. These aggressive, adaptable birds have severely disrupted local ecosystems and communities, displacing native species and damaging crops. Kenya will use the avicide starlicide imported from New Zealand to poison the crows in a coordinated effort to control this invasive species.
