Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from T20I cricket after leading India to victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup. However, he revealed he had not planned to retire, but felt it was the “perfect situation” to say goodbye after winning the trophy. Sharma will continue playing in the IPL.
