Dr. Prachikar (46), an Anesthesia Professor at NIMS in Hyderabad, died by suicide in Begumpet. Police sources revealed that she administered anaesthesia to herself at her residence in Bhramanwadi. The reasons behind her tragic decision are still under investigation.
