K.P. Sharma Oli has been sworn in as the Prime Minister of Nepal. This is Oli’s second term as the country’s leader. He previously served as Prime Minister from 2015 to 2016. Oli’s appointment comes after his party, the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist), won the majority of seats in the recent parliamentary elections.
