Food delivery giants Swiggy, Zomato, and grocery platform BigBasket are reportedly seeking government approval to add alcohol delivery to their services. If approved, customers could soon order liquor directly from these apps for doorstep delivery. However, the plans are still in early stages and require regulatory clearance before launch.
