Adidas has removed half-Palestinian model Bella Hadid from a campaign promoting sneakers inspired by the 1972 Munich Olympics, where 11 Israeli athletes were killed by Palestinian militants. The decision came after backlash from Israel, which criticized Hadid’s vocal support for Palestinian rights. Adidas apologized for any distress caused by the unintentional associations with the tragic event.
