Parents Protection Bill: Salary Cut for Neglecting Parents

The Telangana Assembly has approved the Parents Protection Bill to ensure elderly parents are cared for by their children. Under the new provision, if working children fail to support their parents, authorities can deduct up to 15% of their salary or ₹10,000 and transfer it to the parents. The bill applies to both government and private employees.
