Parliament Seats To Increase To 850

Centre’s Proposals on the Delimitation of Constituencies. The Proposal is to increase Seats via Constitutional Amendment 131. Center plans to increasing Lok Sabha Seats to 850 from the current 543. 815 Lok Sabha Seats will be allocated to States, 35 to Union Territories. Reports are that the Central Government had already briefed the MPs on the Constitutional Amendment Bill.
