‘Amaravati’, Not Amaravathi: AP Govt Issues Clear Order

Ending the confusion, Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary G. Sai Prasad has directed that the capital’s name must be officially written as “Amaravati.” He clarified that using “Amaravathi” is incorrect and instructed all officials to follow the standard spelling. Orders have been issued to district collectors and departments to strictly use “Amaravati” in all official communications.
