Several parts of Telangana witnessed thunderstorms and moderate rainfall, offering much needed relief from the scorching heatwave. Hyderabad, Medak and Suryapet received showers, while hailstorm hit Ghatkesar. However, strong winds damaged power infrastructure, disrupted traffic and soaked paddy stocks, leaving farmers worried in a few regions.
