Andhra Rice Export to China Marks Major Trade Boost

Nearly 2,700 tonnes of rice from Andhra Pradesh have been exported to China through Chennai Port, highlighting a strong boost to agricultural trade. The consignment was transported via a multimodal rail and container system through ICD Tondiarpet. Officials said the efficient logistics chain improved speed, reduced handling time, and strengthened export connectivity from inland regions to global markets.
