Google’s New AI Shield Against Fake Calls

Google has rolled out an AI-powered “Fake Call Detection” feature for Android users to combat rising deepfake voice scams. The tool can identify spoofed calls pretending to be trusted contacts and display a warning. It works through the Phone by Google app and is initially rolling out to Android 12+ devices, starting with Pixel phones.
