Indian Sailor’s Body Kept With Water Bottles In Oman

Nishanth Uirthanathan, a 35-year-old Indian sailor from Tamil Nadu, died aboard MT Celestial off Oman after reportedly suffering medical complications. The Forward Seamen’s Union alleged delays in emergency assistance, forcing crew members to preserve his body with water bottles. Authorities are now coordinating the repatriation of his mortal remains.
