Tamil media reports suggest Rajinikanth and director KS Ravikumar developed a promising story for Padayappa 2 ( Narsimha 2 ) from a strong one line idea. However, the Superstar reportedly felt the sequel needed an extraordinary script to match the original’s iconic legacy. Since the current version fell short of that ambition, the project has reportedly been shelved.
