A 32 year old woman in Tamil Nadu died after attempting a home delivery by following YouTube videos instead of seeking medical care. She delivered a baby girl but suffered severe bleeding soon after childbirth. Despite being rushed to hospital and receiving intensive treatment, she died. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
