Delhi High Court Deals Setback to Ilaiyaraaja

The Delhi High Court has temporarily restrained music composer Ilaiyaraaja from broadcasting songs from 134 films released since 1976. The court observed that the copyright for complete film sound recordings belongs to the producers or rights holders and not the composer. The interim order came while hearing a petition filed by Saregama India.
