“Don’t Waste Our Time”: CJI on Student Protest Plea

Chief Justice Surya Kant made a sharp observation while hearing a plea challenging police action against student protesters during the CJP march. When the petitioner’s lawyer referred to videos of alleged police excesses, the CJI responded that the court was not interested in watching videos and asked counsel not to waste its time.
