Udhayanidhi Moves High Court for Anticipatory Bail

Leader of the Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin has approached the Madras High Court seeking anticipatory bail in a case over his controversial remarks during a public speech in Thanjavur. Justice G.K. Ilanthiraiyan agreed to hear the urgent plea this afternoon. Meanwhile, a heavy police presence has been deployed outside his residence.
