The Andhra Pradesh government has issued orders to set up 28 new Zilla Parishads, replacing the existing 13 to improve local administration. This includes ZPs for newly formed districts like Markapur and Polavaram. To manage operations across 660 mandals, the state approved creating 30 key posts, including 15 CEO positions. This change will take effect after current tenure ends.
