Long Pending Kotipalli – Narsapur Railway Project Revived

The Andhra Pradesh government has finally released 100 crores for buying land for the long-delayed Kotipalli–Narsapuram railway project. Approved back in 2001, work stopped midway because of financial issues. Now that the state agreed to pay its 25% share of the total cost, people in Konaseema can hope to see construction speed up soon. This line will boost connectivity of the remote areas in that region.
