Mankind Pharma has honoured Captain Smit Machchhar with ₹1 crore for his extraordinary courage during the Flydubai cockpit incident. Despite reportedly being stabbed by his co-pilot, Machchhar acted to prevent the aircraft from being crashed. Mankind Pharma Vice Chairman Rajeev Juneja praised his courage, leadership and humanity, saying his actions made Indians proud.
