IPL: Emotional Fans criticize SRH after seeing Warner in stands

It has been a heartbreaking season for the fans of Sunrisers Hyderabad in many ways. First of all, the team won only two of its 12 games and is placed at the bottom of the table. It was never outside the top four teams on the points table, in the last five seasons.

The second thing is David Warner. The Australian cricketer is not just a player for SRH fans but an emotion. He has been associated with the franchise since 2014 and led them to many playoffs and made them win the trophy in 2016. SRH is nothing without Warner, say many fans.

The player of such a stature is going through a rough patch now. Due to his poor form this season, he was sacked from captaincy and also removed from the playing XI. The situation became so worse that Warner was confined to the hotel room and was not allowed to the stadium with other players.

Finally, the star batsman made an appearance at the stadium last night in the match between SRH and KKR. He was seen cheering for his team from the stands. Fans got emotional by seeing him and flooded with tweets on Twitter. Many of them opined that SRH doesn’t deserve Warner anymore and hoped that he plays for a team that respects him.
