Warner bids an emotional ‘Goodbye’ to SRH

Australian cricketer David Warner has bid an emotional goodbye to SunRisers Hyderabad after the team’s last league match against Mumbai Indians. Warner had played his last match for SRH against Punjab Kings on September 25th and after that he was excluded from the team owing to poor form.

“Thank You for the memories created. To all the fans, you have been a driving force for our team always to give 100%. I can’t thank you all enough for the support shown. It’s been a great ride. My family and I are going to miss you all!! #respect #cricket #hyderabad One last effort today,” wrote Warner in his Instagram.

During the first phase of IPL this year, Warner lost this captaincy with the team losing continuously and then he wasn’t made part of the playing Eleven. But Warner was seen supporting SRH in the stands and his affection for the team was well received by the fans. The biggest achievement of Warner for SRH is, lifting the IPL trophy in 2016 edition.

IPL will witness a mega auction next year because two new teams are going to be part of 2022 IPL. Every team will be retaining just three players and this means Warner will definitely be out of SRH.

SRH finished at the bottom of the points table in IPL 2021 and disappointed the fans big time. Hope SRH franchise gets to see an overhaul and bring in worthy players for the next season.
