Australia lifted their maiden T20 trophy on the Sunday final. David Warner and Mitch Marsh played huge roles for the Kangaroos in this World Cup victory. Warner received the Player of the Tournament for his outstanding contribution to the team of Australia.
David Warner scored 289 runs and in the finals he played a defining knock of 53. Congratulations are pouring down for Warner who was at a critical juncture of his cricketing career.
In the second phase of IPL, Warner was dropped from captaincy of SRH and finally was excluded from the playing Eleven. Everyone rubbed off Warner but the Aussie cricketer shut the critics with his bat.
Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu could not restrict himself from congratulating Warner and the former called the latter a legend. “The Aussie grit was on full display in Dubai… Congrats team Australia!! T20 champions of 2021. @davidwarner31 what can I say! Mate… you’re a legend,” tweeted Mahesh.
