We are halfway through the Indian Premier League 2022 and it has been an exciting journey so far. Underdog teams like Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad are at the top positions whereas season favourites Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings are at the bottom.
Current points table scenario:
Gujarat is in the first position with 6 wins in 7 matches. SRH, Rajasthan and RCB are in the next three positions with 5 wins each. These teams have high chances of qualifying for playoffs as of now. Apart from them, Lucknow also has a good chance to qualify for the playoffs.
Meanwhile, five-time champion Mumbai Indians are at the bottom position with 7 losses in 7 games. Four-time champions Chennai Super Kings are at the ninth position with two wins in 7 games. In order to qualify, Chennai should win all their remaining games.
