Dhoni’s Warning To CSK Bowlers Is Going Viral

Chennai Super Kings won their first home match of the IPL 2023 on Monday. They defeated the KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants by 12 runs at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

Despite winning, MS Dhoni appears to be not happy at all with his bowlers and he warned them during after-match interaction.

‘Fast bowling we need to slightly improve. Need to bowl according to the conditions. What is important is to keep an eye on what the opposition bowlers are doing. One more thing they’ll have to do is maybe, no no-balls and less wides coz, we are bowling too many extras or they’ll have to play under a new captain. It will be my second warning and then I’ll be off,’ he warned with a small smile but it looked like he meant it.

The CSK bowlers bowled 18 extras (13 wides, 3 no balls, and 2 leg-byes) against the LSG. CSK scored 217/7 in 20 overs and LSG managed to score 205/7 runs in 20 overs. CSK bowlers gave 12 extras in the first match against Gujarat.

This warning of Thala is going viral now.
