Australian cricketer David Warner took to social media to claim that IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad has blocked him on Instagram.
David Warner revealed that he found himself blocked by Sunrisers Hyderabad when he tried to congratulate Travis Head, who was bought by the Sunrisers for a fee of Rs. 6.80 crore in the IPL 2024 auction in Dubai.
Warner and SRH have strained terms ever since he was removed as captain in the middle of the season. Warner later went on to join Delhi Capitals and was retained by the franchise ahead of the IPL 2024 auction.
Warner posted the screenshots of Sunrisers blocking him on Instagram.
SRH also roped in Australia’s World Cup-winning captain Pat Cummins for a mammoth fee of Rs 20.50 crore a record fee which was broken by Kolkata Knight Riders’ Mitchel Starc. The bidding war became intense for Cummins with MI, RCB, CSK, and SRH raising the bid to pull him into their respective teams.
