KL Rahul To RCB: Big Hint Is Here

After a failed stint with Lucknow Super Giants, KL Rahul has distanced himself from the side and listed himself in the mega auction that is scheduled to happen next month. In this connection, there is an increased commotion on social media that Rahul is likely to return to his old team – Royal Challenger Bengaluru.

Ahead of the mega auction, RCB’s Twitter handle came up with a very interesting post that is now being seen as a hint that RCB is indeed bound to go after Rahil in the coming auction.

This social media post pertains to Rahul heaping praise on Kohli and rolling back to the days in 2016 when he felt RCB is his home and how he loves the franchise and their loyal fans.

The timing of this post is right ahead of the auction and it is adding to weight that RCB is indeed interested in bringing back Rahul into the side.

There could be two principal reasons behind Rahul’s possible return to RCB, One is that Rahul’s prospects have been on a downward spiral for a while now, and not many teams apart from RCB could be too interested in him. The other is that Virat Kohli who is likely to be the next captain of RCB is very close to Rahul and he might propel his franchise to go after the latter in the auction.

But hey, this is the IPL mega auction and virtually anything could happen on the D-day.
