The IPL mega auction was wrapped up yesterday, November 25th and the teams have picked their final squads. In this context, here is a look at the five players from Andhra Pradesh who got IPL contracts this year and are likely to have a bright future ahead of them.
As is known, youngster Nitish Kumar Reddy from Vizag who shot to fame with SRH, and debuted for India this year is remaining with SRH. He is paid a salary of Rs 8 crore which is a substantial jump from last year. He is quickly becoming a marquee player in the Indian cricketing circuit.
Shaik Rasheed from Guntur has also found a team in this year’s auction as he was picked by Chennai Super Kings.
Pyla Avinash, who is also from Vizag has also invited interest in the auction and he was picked up by Punjab Kings.
Tripurna Vijay, a young bowler from Srikakulam has secured a contract with Delhi Capitals.
Lastly, we have Satyanarayana Raju who is picked up by 5-time champions Mumbai Indians.
In this connection, AP IT Minister Nara Lokesh extended his congratulations to all of these AP players who are selected to play in IPL 2025.
