It is known that India won the recent champion trophy 2025 by beating New Zealand in the finale. Now here is the money distribution between the teams that took part in the tournament.
The winner of the tournament, India will be receiving a prize money of $2.24 million which roughly converts to Rs 20 crore. This is a pretty stiff pay cheque for a tournament that barely goes on for three weeks.
Runner ups New Zealand will be taking home an impressive Rs 12 crore for their efforts as well.
Semi finalists Australia and South Africa will take home Rs 4.6 crore each. 5th and 6th place finishers will take home Rs 2.9 crore each.
Sadly for Pakistan who couldn’t even win a single game in the tournament this year will get just Rs 1.1 crore and this might not even cover their expenses for hosting the tournament.
