Dhoni’s Parents At Chepauk; Is MSD Announcing Retirement?

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has retired from all formats of international cricket. The star cricketer is currently playing the Indian Premier League alone. There have been speculations about MS Dhoni’s retirement for the last four years. A couple of years ago, when CSK won the trophy, everyone thought Dhoni would end his IPL career, but he did not. However, today, MSD’s parents are at Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, watching the CSK vs DC game. There is rising speculation about Dhoni’s retirement again.

CSK is playing against the Delhi Capitals today. Dhoni’s parents, Pan Singh Dhoni and Devaki Devi, were in attendance at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai today. Dhoni has been associated with CSK since 2008, but this was the first time Dhoni’s parents came to watch a game. So, it is indeed special and might be memorable as well.

Dhoni’s wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva were frequently seen at various venues where the cricketer played. However, parents’ attendance raises doubts about Dhoni announcing his retirement today.

Earlier, there were talks about Dhoni leading the CSK in the current game owing to his injury. But, Gaikwad is back to the middle for the toss and ruled out the speculations.

As of now, the fans and the cricket lovers are waiting if there would be any announcement on cards.
