Gill Says ‘Bagundi Ra Mama’ To Nitish Reddy

It is already known that India is taking on England in the ongoing third test match of the series, which started yesterday. One crucial change for India in this game is the inclusion of Nitish Kumar Reddy, who is playing his first test match in this England series.

As expected, Nitish Kumar Reddy was absolutely effective right from the first innings as he kept tight lines and bowled a superb first over. 

Incidentally, Nitish picked up one, but two crucial wickets in his very first hour, thanks to his impressive bowling performance. Interestingly, enough, captain Shubman Gill appears to be fully impressed with the performance that was being put up by Reddy.

There were couple of interesting incidents where Gill was seen shouting in Telugu while Reddy was bowling. 

“What ra Reddy, Bagundi ra mama” were the words recited by Gill repeatedly while Nitesh Kumar Reddy was bowling. Telugu commentators were also pleasantly surprised by seeing Gill speaking in Telugu while Reddy was bowling at the peak of his spell.

Data appears that Nitish and Gill have formed a strong bonding, and the former has even tougher a few Telugu words to the new captain. Nevertheless, this Telugu interaction between Captain Gill and Nitish Kumar Reddy is now grabbing the attention on social media.
