So Close, India Lose Thrilling 3rd Test

Team India has endured a heartbreaking result in the ongoing third test match against England as they have lost by the closest margins. After a spirited performance, India ended up losing the game by a margin of 22 runs.

Ravindra Jadeja played one of the finest innings for India in an overseas game as scored 61 runs from 181 balls. This is one of the best fighting performances by Indian batsman in an overseas test match.

But in the end, pathetic batting performances from the Indian top order ended up costing game for the visiting team.

This is a heart breaking result for India as they came impeccably close to clinching the game and ended up losing by just 22 runs. Had at least one top order batsmen confirmed to his capability India could have become extremely close to going 2-1 up in the series.

Now that this series is numerically in favour of England at 2-1, it is quintessential that India wins the next test match in order to stay afloat in the series.
