Last Collapse Sinks India, 4th Test In Trouble?

After a very promising start to the first innings of the ongoing fourth test match against England, the visiting nation of India had a big collapse towards the end. After losing the final four wickets for under 50 runs India scored 358 runs, which doesn’t look nearly enough on this good batting pitch. 

In response to this, England started brilliantly and they have already scored 225 runs for the loss of just two wickets. On top of that, they have been scoring with consistently good run rate in the range of 4.8.

Considering the current match situation, it appears that England is well and truly on top of India and coming back from here is going to be a big deal. 

The last collapse for India towards the end of the innings appears to be the dealbreaker here. Things are not looking very promising for the visiting nation. Here as the aggressive batting approach of England is pushing India far away from the game. 

If England can go beyond 500 runs in their first innings, then things are going to be largely out of reach for India and the best possible result that would only be a draw. It has to be seen how the Indian bowlers would put up with this batting pressure of England at the start of the first session on third day.
