The ongoing test series between India and England is turning out to be one of the greatest test series of all time as it is shaping up to be a perfect thriller of epic proportion. Incidentally, the earlier for test matches had all gone to 5th day, which is very rare in the modern day test Cricket.
Incidentally, even the fifth test match has now gone to the fifth day, which is primarily due to the rain that happened towards the closing stages of the fourth test match.
And now we have a supremely interesting fifth day test match in the fifth game of the series, which is essentially a series decider. If England win this game, the series will be swept 3-1 in their favour. And if India can pull off a victory, then they will be levelling the series 2-2.
But the crucial point to be noted, here is that England needs just 35 runs from the fifth day, and they have four wickets in hand. Some sensible batting in the first session of the fifth day will lock the victory for them.
But when it comes to India, they must be absolutely on point with their bowling attack on the fifth day if they are to stand a chance of troubling the English batting lineup. Under crucial point here is that England has an injured player in the form of Chris, who will come out in 11th position if needed.
The essential point to be noted here is that the fifth day is going to be a mighty crucial and exciting one from here on.
