India Loses To South Africa: What’s Next?

It is already known that the women’s Cricket World Cup is currently happening. On that note, India had a big encounter against South Africa last night and ended up on the losing side because of brilliant batting from South African lower order batters.

Batting first, India could manage a modest total of 251 runs. This was largely thanks to the super effective in supplied by richa Ghosh, who got to 94 runs in super quick style. 

Then came the batting innings from South Africa and their two struggled at one point as their scorecard read 81-5. But the lower order batters of South Africa stood up to the challenge and completed remarkable win for the visiting nation.

In the end, South Africa ended up beating India by 3 wickets. They even had an over to spare.

As for India, they will need to put this match behind them very quickly as they will be facing Australia in the next game. This is going to be the biggest challenge for India in the ongoing World Cup as beating the mighty Australian Women’s team is no joke.

It has to be seen if Indian woman would be able to overpower the mighty Australian lineup in the next game on October 12.
