Tale Of Tragedy: Australia Thrashes India!

The ongoing series between India and Australia happens to be one of the most anticipated cricket series in recent years. Cricket fans from across the globe and particularly in India were very hopeful of this series, which would challenge the Indian team.

However, India made a horrifying start in the ODI series by losing the first game by a very comprehensive margin and absolutely thrashed by Australia.

After being put to bat first India got just 136 runs from the quota of 26 overs in what turned out to be a rain affected game. In response to this, Australia was absolutely dominant with the bat as they ended up chasing this target with four overs to spare and seven wickets in hand.

Facing Australia in Australian conditions is always a big challenge and itself, but better fight was expected from India with the likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma back in the team. But nothing of this sort actually happened as India got absolutely ironed by the relentless Australian attack. 

With the next game scheduled for October 23, it has to be seen if India would be able to put up a better performance at least then.
