Telugu Titans have been one of the underperforming teams in the Pro Kabaddi League over the years. They’ve also had the reputation of ruining the potential of the team with unsatisfactory results over time.
But for a change, Telugu Titans were brilliant in the ongoing season of Pro Kabaddi League. They reached the semi finals stage thanks to some brilliant performances in the league stage and also in the knockouts.
However, the Titans couldn’t clear the semis hurdle as they fell short in this crucial game against Puneri Paltan who happen to be one of the title contenders this year.
In the game against Puneri Paltan last night, Telugu Titans succumbed to a narrow defeat as the scorecard read 50-45 in favour of Puneri side.
While this defeat in the semis might be a gutting one for Telugu fans as the team didn’t go all the way to the glory, this is a comparatively far better result than what was seen over the last few years. This can perhaps be regarded as a reasonable outcome and fans would be hoping that the team would build on this momentum and eventually hit big in the coming seasons.
