The stage is finally prepared for the auction ahead of the 2026 season of IPL and here is a look at the crucial details regarding the same. Down below is an amalgamation of the information regarding the date of the auction, and also the number of players.

The crucial numbers associated with the IPL 2026 auction are listed below.

– 16th December in Abu Dhabi.
– 2.30pm auction start time.
– 1,355 players registered.
– 350 players shortlisted.
– 224 uncapped Indians.
– 16 capped Indians.

As mentioned, the auction will be held on December 16 at the Abu Dhabi venue and it will start at 2:30 PM IST. While a total of 1355 players at registered for the auction, only 350 of them got shortlisted by the franchises.

Out of the 350 players, 240 happen to be Indian players while the rest 110 happen to be foreign athletes. There is going to be a good mixture of domestic and international talent.

Mumbai Indians will be one of the consequence teams in the auction as they have the least amount of personal value while Chennai and Kolkata have in excess of 40 crore.
