Shocker: Key Player Ruled Out For India Before NZ Series!

Team India appears to be on an injury spree as it was recently the case of Tilak Varma, who got injured right before the start of the T20 World Cup. And now we have another talented youngster, who has enjoyed himself just before the start of the New Zealand ODI series.

The new player in discussion here is Rishabh Pant, who has been operating as the primary choice for the wicket-keeper position in the team.

According to the latest reports, Rishabh Pant injured himself during the practice session before the start of the New Zealand ODI series. Subsequently, he has been rolled out for the remaining series due to side strain.

The reason why Rishabh Pant can be categorised as a crucial player is that this series could have been deciding prospect that could have brought him back to form for India. He was training very hard to find a place for himself in the team, and it is sad to see this injury come up at this point in time.

As the series begins today, January 11, we won’t be seeing Rishabh Pant in action as he is recovering from a new side-strain injury.
